Today I will be sharing my morning skincare ritual. I am fascinated with skincare products have tried many products throughout the years. At this current season of my life, I am trying to live a more natural lifestyle and the products I put on my skin reflect that as well. Please note that this post is not sponsored and all the products I’ve listed I have purchased on my own. I just really wanted to share my skincare routine because I feel like I’ve finally found one that I enjoy and is working for me. Lets get to it!
My Morning Skincare Ritual
Step 1 Water | I don”t want to strip my face of its natural oils so in the morning I simply just splash my face with warm water and pat dry.
Step 2 Roll | Using my jade face roller, I roll outwards and upwards on my face and neck. “Face rolling” is known to stimulate collagen and increase skin firmness. Plus, I just love how cool the jade feels on my skin! It definitely perks me up in the morning. Product used:
Step 3 Tone | I spray witch hazel all over my face and neck and gently pat with my hands. Currently using: Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel
Step 4 Serum | While my face is still wet from the toner, I apply a serum on my face and neck. I’ve noticed a significant change in my complexion once I incorporated a serum into my routine. Currently, I am using a vitamin c serum, the citrus scent of the serum is so invigorating in the morning! Currently using: ArtNaturals Anti-Aging Vitamin C Serum
Step 5 Moisturize | Once my serum is completely dry, I gently apply my moisturizer on my face and neck. I also like to massage my cuticles with the moisturizer left on my hands.Currently using: PURA Botanicals Sweet Face Restorative Daily Face Cream
Step 6 Sunscreen | I always apply sunscreen even if I don’t plan on spending time outside for an extended period.Currently using: Beauty by Earth Facial Moisturizer with SPF 20
Step 7 Lips | The last step of my morning skincare ritual is to apply a yummy scented lip balm.
There you have it. I’ll be sharing my nighttime skincare ritual on my next blog post!
